-Griffis Family & Friends-

This is your hour of need. I Corinthians 12:26 - "whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it..." Understand, there are many that are with you, both known and unknown. Those blessed to be with you are a reflection of John's influence. Embrace one another whilst in the peaceful lap of the Lord and we will see you in our prayers.

“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid."

Heard a quote a week ago that stated: Miracles don't come because we are good enough. They come, one way or the other, because Jesus was obedient on the cross. With that as our faith-foundation, life and miracles never end.
The Lord bless each of you.

God has already used this tragedy to pull his people together for a single purpose ~ to lift up the entire Griffis family in prayer. It rare to have such a unity as this. And we will continue to lift you up in prayer, may God's grace rain down on you and you feel his presence and peace. You are loved ~ the prayers are continuing!

Tonight we are praying for the peace that passes understanding.

All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
How precious to me are your thoughts, O God!How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand. When I awake, I am still with you.
Ps. 139

Know in your hearts that EACH and EVERY member of your family is being lifted up in prayer and God is listening to all of them! There are prayers going around the world. Friends in The Netherlands have lit candles just for John and are praying for him daily. Turn your hands over and release all the tension and the countless thoughts that have to be racing through your minds every moment. Release them to Jesus! He alone will take you through this suffering. Know that we are still getting prayer partners together and that we truly LOVE EACH OF YOU! ~The Greg J. Allen Family

Saundra, the choir at First Presbyterian in Edmond is praying for you and your family too.
Our hearts are heavy with your burden. There is absolutely no way to understand this circumstance. You are in the center of the family of God...the family that has born uncounted tragedies and continued on. Our God is the great healer...He will meet your needs.
